This site is the lessons learned from almost 15  years of starting, building and growing a digital agency in the great city of Fargo, ND. We hope to share our experiences from our company as well as what we’ve learned by launching a few of our own software as a service (SaaS) products. There are different skills involved when growing a service based business versus a product. However there are some common threads that all come back to market fit and sales.

It is the how-to, practical advice that I wish someone would have given to me when I was first getting started. About to get married and I was getting ready to leave a well paying, fully benefitted position as a software developer to jump into the world of entrepreneurship. I read the 4 hour work week by Tim Ferriss and wondered what I’d do with the other 36 hours of my week. What is clear on this side of our journey is that when building your own business you need to get the deliverable work done as well as lay the vision for what you want to be in the future.
